All Epson projectors are 3-LCD light engine designs and the Home Theater models are sold through custom integrators and audio-video specialty retailers. In addition to Home Theater projectors such at the ProCinema 9700UB (see photo) EPSON offers a series of projectors with Hi-Definition resolution and the light output and ruggedness required in many professional applications. The Pro Series consists of five projector models each sold without a len with a choice of five to six optional lens to fit any throw distance application. For example, the new Pro Z8000 (see photo) is liquid cooled in addition to having 12 cooling fans and produces 6,000 lumens of color light output. EPSON projectors retail from $1,000 to $30,000.
